Las cámaras para ensayo de corrosión Kesternich – SO2, Série KEQ, fueron desarrolladas para obedecer rigurosamente las normas de ensayo DIN 50018 – ABNT NBR 8096 – ASTM G 87 – DIN EN ISO 6988, y las normas de seguridad para protección del medio ambiente y del operador.
La cámara para ensayo de Kesternich – SO2, simula una atmósfera humedad saturada y ácida totalmente controlada, como por ejemplo: gases procedentes de motores, sistema de calefacción, lluvia ácida, atmósferas industriales, etc.
Principales características
- La serie KEQ está dividida en 2 modelos:1) Panel de control touch screen, realiza el ciclo totalmente automático según norma ASTM – DIN EN ISO – ABNT NBR. 2) Panel de mando con controlador de temperatura microprocesado, realiza el ciclo manual.
- Construida con paredes dobles con aislamiento térmico, garantizando mejor homogeneidad de la temperatura del gabinete de prueba, con óptimo desempeño final del ensayo.
- Bandeja en fibra de vidrio con sistema de protección de sobre temperatura y fuga de agua.

Especificaciones técnicas
Application:
The chambers are used to perform rapid acid and wet acid corrosion tests on metal parts with organic or inorganic coatings.
Its application primarily serves companies in the automotive, civil construction, plastic, aviation, oil and gas, paints, varnishes, electronics, chemical, metallurgical and other related industries.
Operation:
The test samples are arranged within the test cabinet according to technical standards. They are exposed to an acidic atmosphere (H2SO4) and wet at a temperature of 40°C for 8 hours and then enter a cooling mode with circulating air controlled for 16 hours where the internal temperature of the chamber will reach the ambient temperature of the laboratory. We usually recommend a laboratory temperature of 23°C +/- 3°C. This 24-hour period is called the round (end of the test). Normally the number of rounds should be agreed upon between the customer / supplier.
